Australia Post Community Development Grant - Community groups, including local landcare groups across Australia, can now apply for yearly grants to help improve their local community and environment Landcare Website

Australian Bird Environment Foundation Grants -This foundation was established by the Bird Observers Club of Australia to provide grants to preserve Australian vegetation and to its assist its wildlife. Bird Observers Club of Australia

Australian Ethical Investment Community Grant -provides as part of a corporate citizenship provision within the company's constitution, 10% of its profits to non-profit charity, benevolent and conservation organisations. Australian Government's Community Water Grants provides $200 million over five years to help communities make a real difference to the way water is used. This funding will provide grants of up to $50 000 to eligible community organisations to encourage wise water use. In some instances grants of $100 000 to $250 000 will be made available although strict eligibility guidelines apply. Australian Government's Community Water Grants

Australian Government Grants for Voluntary Environment and Heritage Organisations helps eligible community based environment and heritage organisations to value, conserve and protect Australia's natural environment and historic heritage by assisting with their administrative funding. Funds provided through the GVEHO programme may be used to assist with salaries and salary on-costs for executive and administrative staff; office accommodation rental; electricity, gas, phone and other similar charges; essential office supplies and equipment; staff and volunteer training; photocopying and printing costs; and travel costs incurred on behalf of the organisation. Breakwater Island Casino Community Benefit Fund Grants was established in 1987 by the Queensland Government to allocate grants to non-profit community organizations in North Queensland which provide facilities or services to the community at large. Community Awareness Grants aim is to raise community awareness of natural resource issues and their importance in our daily lives, and encourage people to play a part in securing our future. TELSTRA ASSISTANCE FUND TO SUPPORT SPORTING CODES

 
   
 

The Telstra Assistance Fund provides assistance at the most fundamental level by providing much needed equipment to sport and community clubs, right across the country.

applications are being called for financial assistance for the following codes:-

Rugby League - All clubs can apply for financial assistance for equipment up to the value of $1,500 plus GST.   Go to Telstra Assistance Fund Rugby League.

Football - Financial assistance for equipment up to the value of $1,000 plus GST.  Go to Telstra Assistance Fund Football.

Swimming - Financial assistance for equipment up to the value of $5,000 plus GST.  Go to Telstra Assistance Fund Swimming.

Surf Life Saving Australia - Individual club assistance for equipment up to the value of $11,000 per club.  Go to Telstra Assistance Fund Surf Life Saving Australia.
