A new group focusing
on singing. A group of adults who sing for fun, for ourselves, community events, and nursing homes.
Upcoming performances include the Art Deco High Tea at the
Masonic Hall on Sat 4th October, 3pm, Harvest Festival and Mundoo State School bush dance on 25th October.
Rehearsals for Christmas carols and songs begin Wed 29th
Oct.
First project performance for the Feast of the Senses, on the little stage in the Canecutter
Court. 20-30mins of ‘tropical’ songs (12 songs at most), and do the same set of songs twice on the day, Sunday
16th March, Market Day.
Rehearsal nights will be Wednesdays from 6.00-7.30pm, in the East Innisfail State School Pre-school
building.
Tentatively booked to do a performance for the Harvest Festival in October, and do songs on an art-deco
jazzy theme. (This is a bit vague at the moment.)
There will only be about 6 weeks to rehearse for Feast of the Senses, so don’t miss the first
rehearsal if you can help it. 6th February 2008
