My name is Kevin Carman and I have nominated for the position of councillor in Division Three.

I was born in Innisfail 54 years ago and have lived in Division Three all my life, at South Mission Beach and El Arish.

At present, my wife and I own a family cane farm as did our fathers and grandfathers before us. I have worked for and throughout the two shires in the past as a plant operator, and also in the family business Del Rio Holiday Apartments at South Mission Beach.

I am a long standing member of the Tully Coast Guard and have enjoyed completing seamanship and radio courses there.

I have a strong belief in building a balanced future in Division Three, and that well thought out economic management will ensure continued employment opportunities and quality of life in the Division.
