Born in Brisbane and lived in many parts of Australia. Lived in Innisfail district since 1990
coming here to teach primary school.
Batchelor of Arts in Literature and a Graduate in Education.
Stasia has rekindled her interest in drawing and painting in 1997 when she started attending
"Art Classes" and has been involved in several local artist exhibitions.
2007 - Very successful exhibition entitled "If Walls Could Talk" with 22 paintings, showcasing
the buildings and stories of Johnstone Shire.
A book of the same title was produced by herself and Jacque Duffy (also profiled on Artists
Directory), another local artist and writer, which included all her paintings and all Jacque's stories that were in exhibition.
Stasia has three children, a husband, and lives on a farm, works part time teaching, plays
lots of rugby and touch footie and doesn't like eating cooked celery!
Stasia is currently painting for exhibitions in Innisfail in August 2008 (Central Arcade
Gallery) and the Innisfail Art Society Biennial in October 2008. Stasia is also completing painting commissions which keeps
her very busy.
