All hands on deck! The Dent to Dunk Centenary is a signature race and rally of cruising and racing yachts. Together they retrace the course of the original race between Dent and Dunk Island held in 1909. As part of the rally you will explore the coastline between Airlie Beach and Cardwell, spending time at resorts and secluded bays along the way.

What started as a bet between two cane farmers in a Gordonvale pub 50 years ago, has turned into an annual scramble up the mountain which attracts more than 100 elite athletes. Considered no ordinary event, this 12 kilometre cross country race culminates with a climb to the peak of Walsh’s Pyramid.  A country fair with entertainment including the Miss Pyramid Cabaret and market stalls awaits at the bottom.
